May my voice reach you...

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA (初音ミク -Project DIVA-) - sometimes called "Project DIVA 1st" (hence PjD1st) - is a rhythm game starring Hatsune Miku, released for the PSP on July 2nd, 2009. It was developed by SEGA in collaboration with Crypton Future Media and DINGO. It was the first entry in both the mainline Project DIVA (hence PjD) series and the SEGA feat. Hatsune Miku Project overall.

As far as most western PjD fans are concerned, the series began with the global release of F for the PS3, but in reality this scrappy little thing was where it all began. Filled with Early-Installment Weirdness and remnants of scrapped concepts, this little experiment was developed over the span of just 14 months (May 2008-July 2009, though the project itself was pitched as early as September 2007).[1]

Unique quirks include:

Pretty odd game, if you ask me. Most of the signature features present in later PjD games were added in the direct sequel, Project DIVA 2nd (2010).
